Janna Sobel

Forgive the exclamation points... I'm excited about this. I've been teaching improvisation in professional training centers, universities, and for private clients for over 17 years. I teach improv because it ends isolation, brings joy, restores creativity, and fosters cooperation. When the pandemic hit, all my teaching work went online. And at first, I was doubtful at first about conducting dynamic group work through a digital interface. But, in big brainstorming sessions with current colleagues at The Second City, University of Chicago, and Chicago Dramatists, and through my own experimentation, I've found beautiful ways to teach Improv online that are surprisingly powerful, and classes are proving to be a vital and necessary source of joy, laughter, connection, and creativity for many people during these challenging times.

This wonderful little class series includes the best of what I've learned delivering this material over the last 17 years AND over the last 5 months online! You can come play from the comfort of home, anywhere in the world. Have a look below, scroll down for student reviews, and use the contact form at the bottom of this page to join us. :)
